A Library Book Stolen

Someone tore the RFID security tag off a library reference (CR) book so he can steal the book out of our library. :(

It is kind of sad that some people will actually abuse public good out of pure selfishness. Worse, a person studying at a university will actually do that.

What ever happened to higher learning, take a higher moral ground?

Is that Racist Blogger just being racist?

[Unknown LJ tag]
When I was reading the blog post of the F-ing Prince, I was appalled over his mental and emotional immaturity. This blog post is obviously  from a place of high egoism and lack of empathy and his blog (which i happened to read via cached files here) reeks of the same nasty combination. There is more than one instance he has expressed racial dislike to another race.

Franco Guo's apology as quoted from his blog "I would like to express my sincere apologies for any misinterpretation to my blog entry." This is akin to saying "I apologize sincerely if you feel that I am wrong"- such statement emphasis on the lack of willingness to acknowledge responsibility.

I am honestly disturbed by the egotism shown in this youth. To publicly despise a fellow member of society just because he is down and out, only shows a lack of empathy, character, brains and heart. I only pray that he grows and be a better person in the future.

Super Weekend Part 2: Miss the Freeze but Caught the Cheese

I overslept and was procastinating my overflowing to-do list as I was able to fight off the sluggishness. Wanted to meet [info]juzzywuzzy at Orchard with the intention of just being an ass by laughing balantly at those who froze for 5 minutes. Unfortunately I overslept and missed the whole display. Hence I decided to go window shopping for my new gym bag at taka while waiting for Sham's call. It was cool to meet up with Sham's social media friends as I get to hear a short excerpt on the Chronicles of Being A CEO's Personal Assistant by Daphne and rave about the beauty of iPods with one of the guys from Tech65.

Soon after, I met Angie to do some supermarket shopping (one of my fave pastimes) for our cookout at Jaron's. Was a little disappointed with the lack of variety and freshness of veggies there, so we settle for those DIY salad set and decided to add guava, strawberries, and raisins to our salad. Jaron, to be precise his housekeeper, kept us filled to the brim with yummy mee goreng, salad, jello (which supposed to be jello shots but we forgot to add the vodka) and chicken. A bigger treat was to have our meal at Jaron's tastefully done kitchen with Snowy being so adorable as usual.

We continued the night with bridge, where me and Angie got so ass-fucked by Jaron and Jen :(....  After Jen have to go home, we watched "Juno" and "Sweet November". I love both movies and will be blogging about it soon. This sure beat clubbing on a Saturaday night. Bliss.

Super Weekend Part 1: I am Free from that B*tch!

Last weekend was a uber fun and long weekend! It started from a long day at the library and my trusty ipod was there to entertain me while I was doing some boring administrative task. However having Lin, Hamidah and Cathay at the desk results in alot of fun jestering and bitching. In the evening, I had to meet to my tryanical project manager whom I affectionately call "Hitler's Butch", and she decided to make some "improvements" to the project. Contrary to what others may feel, I felt super elated as I undergo THE EMACIPATION OF DOMINIC  when she decided that Kenny should be part of the leadership. Not only do I have a lighter workload, Kenny will be my liasion with her and my communication with her will crease to the bare minimal. Thank you God! For once for the past week, I was able to sleep like a baby. It is a pity for ChinChin to be still in the receiving end of Hitler's Butch's verbal abuse, however that's her battle for now.

New Blog, First Post, New Beginning

As I open the metaphorical door to a new home on digital-land, I take in the fresh enthusiasm of starting a new channel of expression. The purpose of this blog is to share my life experience and some personal viewpoints and observations.

The substainity of every blog cannot just depend on the blogger, but on the interactivity between the blogger and his readers. I will do my best to entertain you, my readers, and motivate you to think, debate, and act.I will really love to hear feedback from you guys- both good and bad. I will much appreciate the spell and grammar corrections too.  LOL

That's all for my "virgin" post and hope to earn support from you all.

XOXO,
Dom
